I have an issue with tommy model, a strange face, mouth. I’ve downloaded the new file and just drop, replace the original onde. In this episode, we’re going to install mod tools for GTA SA, including an IMG Editor and TXD Editor. We’ll also make our own basic mod for San Andreas, and install it with and without Modloader so you get an idea of how Modloader works. Throughout the guide, we’re also going to cover almost all of the San Andreas file types so you know exactly what each type of file does and what mods may use them for. In this episode, we’ll install the essential GTA SA mods which make the game much more playable on modern systems.
SilentPatch
To remain in the VRR window with DXVK I would suggest to put a custom FPS value in the FusionFix .ini file. If you want to truly restore the game to it’s original glory, I heavily recommend Various Fixes and Console Visuals. They both have their installations adapted for the Fusion Overloader so just copy and paste them to your game’s directory. //Finish the installation and note that there will be a new folder called ‘update’ in your game folder. I dunno why, but for whatever reason this one does not seem to work for me, but it’s also my first time trying to effectively mod GTA IV, so maybe I’m being dumb here.
IV Released
If you don’t mind, I’d like to say something; wouldn’t it be much better if updates and stuff about the mod were posted on here rather than in Discord? The latter often seems to make the most of us feel like a fish out of the water, so you might want to consider that. I haven’t added it as I wanted this plugin only to patch stuff, not add any new features.
GTA V Beta Edition Mod
Also the shader fixes collection in there is ancient and I don’t know if it pulls fusionfix from the github or some outdated place either. In some cases, this may bring performance enhancements up to 20+fps on good hardware… In other cases, there may be major stability improvements in frame timing, which means less stutter, but really, your mileage may vary a lot. When i get to the first step, which is the input of the path of GTAIV.EXE, it says “invalid file – please select GTA IV’S executable file” even though I put the correct path.
- I just haven’t tested it so I can’t tell for sure.
- When there’s a RGL update, Steam will download only the 2 redist files that are placed in the Redistributables folder, so the GTAIV folder isn’t touched at all.
- As I said, the trainer probably also works on downgraded versions.
- Just don’t mix up the keys with simple trainer or Zolika’s, and keep up the good work.
I don’t like to boast but I have a pretty beefy PC atm and I basically see no difference in the highs nor the lows using dx9 or dxvk. And thanks for the tip for the dxvk cap I will try it. My Ryzen G has seen major improvements in usage at max settings.
Modding San Andreas as a beginner can be difficult. There’s a lot of outdated and straight up wrong information out there regarding how you should mod the beloved classic. However, with 10+ years of experience modding San Andreas, I’ve decided to make the ULTIMATE MODDING GUIDE for the game. This guide will teach you the latest and best way to mod San Andreas. I wonder if the radio downgrader fixes anything… Yeah, just checked the 1080 update notes and they seem to have fixed VRAM issues there as well as some other stuff.
GTA V Can’t spawn DLC Ped with Trainer ?
- I would consider these mods exceptional and they are confirmed to work well with fusion overloader, along with restored pedestrians and restored tree positions as well.
- I’ve tried both with the files in the zip extracted to the Grand Theft Auto IV folder, outside of the GTAIV folder with game contents, as well as inside of it.
- This guide will teach you the latest and best way to mod San Andreas.
@H-G Sure, we can announce some updates here, but only the ones that are worth uploading. Controls and gameplay will be similar to LCS. Timecyc and pedestrians will be mostly influenced by GTA3 to maintain the original atmosphere. There are some ties to GTA Advance as well, such as two of the vehicles (Brit and F1) and a reference to Asuka’s blue Stinger as well as a stadium side mission. Style wise we use elements from III in LCS style, reworked from assets or from scratch. We also borrow bits and pieces from the betas of III and LCS for good measure.
Spot on, this is where I see the strengths of 1080 as well I was just a bit more poetic in my OP, and yes you don’t need to downgrade necessarily, I never said so. But this guide is specifically for downgrading which is my preferred way to play. RGL is a different beast, every time you launch a game from it there’s a validation check. Launching the game directly from the .exe should work though. Updated link for the new tommy model to include animations and face fix. I’m going to be adding more file saving features once I consider that the spawner is complete and finished because it will be easier to then add a file saving system.
Cayo perico island not loading in single player mod
Of course we’d like to hear about updates and changes, I know it feels like a minority but there are people who use the Complete Edition and appreciate mods being updated for it. I eventually got it to work and the files converted, however I could never get the game to load as it would always throw a FIL_PACK_3 error. Btw, I’m trying to backport enhanced vehicles to be able to spawn them in legacy but no success… NOP-ing this check will get it to load `OpenIV.asi`, which will then fail due to patterns which need to be updated.
It’s just not included because this is not a comprehensive guide for all thing GTAIV it focuses solely on a strict 1080 vanilla-esque easy downgrade nothing fancier than that. It can be used as a canvas for anyone to build upon and mod after this. Please note that you will need Microsoft Visualc++ installed or the game won’t launch (this would normally be installed during the first start of the game). You can download an up to date all-in-one package here. Advanced asi loader works, no need to nop anything.
GTA V won’t load any .asi mods (ScriptHookV.log never appears)
In the last episode of this modding guide for San Andreas, we’re going to go over where you can download GTA SA mods, and I’ll also share with you some essential pro tips you can use when modding San Andreas. In this episode, we learn how to diagnose and solve GTA SA crashes, as well as ways to prevent crashes when you’re installing mods. As well as that, you generally learn nothing by installing a Modpack. They’re usually just drag and drop, whereas with this guide, you’ll learn all there is to know about modding San Andreas. You’ll also learn how Modloader works in-depth, which most guides don’t cover correctly, and you’ll also learn how to diagnose and solve crashes yourself, which is bound to happen as you play around with mods. However, what happens after that when it comes to installing mods on your own?
Gen9 assets can be converted to legacy at this point, but not the other way around as far as I know. Small data changes like with graphics mods work fine as long as the rpfs are rebuilt correctly. Actually it did inject using advanced asi loader, but it fails with the same error message as in your screenshot.
Not sure if it’s worth making another widescreen fix. Put him on the “last minute fixes” department. Fixes that are bold are supported in 1.0, Steam, and Rockstar Games Launcher versions.
I don’t know if and when this will be added. Just don’t mix up the keys with simple trainer or Zolika’s, and keep up the good work. Used your very first version of trainer and loved it. Used the trainer on patch 7 and really loved it.
It can get quite confusing, as chicken road game google play a lot of these other guides don’t really teach you why you should install certain mods one way and other mods another way. Other guides typically just show you how to install mods, without actually explaining how they work. So sure, by the end of most guides, you will have a modded game. If the file is flagged as a virus, windows will try to stop executing it, throwing you this error. You can try adding an exclusion in Windows Defender for your GTAIV folder. But in the past I saw some big performance benefits of DXVK on my previous config so yes DXVK is absolutely great.
Have tried searching for fix, but no dice. I’ve tried both with the files in the zip extracted to the Grand Theft Auto IV folder, outside of the GTAIV folder with game contents, as well as inside of it. I’ll upload it as a hotfix version, so you don’t have to download the whole 1,58GB again. This video by @Not AJ covers various useful tips related to GTA IV’s save files, including where to find them and how to downgrade them.
The next update will add Head, Jacket and teef components and component texture modifiers. I see, might be the rpf cache issue or the rpf file itself needing the archive-fix thingy. This looks so incredible, everything looks so good, like seriously I’m really impressed by this! And especially Claude, he looks so good in this along with the outfits.
